Ricardo Pinzon is a composer and guitar player from David Chiriqui, Panama. His love for music started at the age of 8 when he was introduced to piano lessons. Being fascinated by the power of music and ability to express himself, at the age of 12 Ricardo picked up the guitar.

Throughout high school years, Ricardo played in rock and metal bands, developing and broadening his skills. By the age of 18, Ricardo's passion for music grew even stronger and the decision to embrace the study of music in a professional way has led him to Panama City (2009).

For a year, Ricardo was a student of Bachillerato de Artes Diversificadas. In 2010, he realized his interest in jazz music and moved to La Plata, Argentina where he entered Emu Educación Musical and spent next three years learning and practicing jazz music.

In 2013, Ricardo was granted an amazing opportunity to deepen and truly master his skills at the prestigious Berklee College of Music located in Boston, USA. In 2017, Ricardo returned to Panama where he is applying his knowledge and experience by being a dedicated guitar instructor, passionate performer and Session Musician.
